Registration Deadline: December 15th, 2023

Location:Glacier Gymnastics is located at 719 Vernon Street, Nelson, BC.

Our facility is located on the north side of Vernon Street, under the Civic Theatre. Our entrance is at the east end of the building.

Admission:

Adults: $5.00 Ages 5-17 & Seniors: $3.00 Children Under 5: Free Cash only (ATM available at Finley’s Bar & Grill, 705 Vernon St.)

 

Parking:

On street parking (meters in effect Fri & Sat); there is full day metered parking available on Cedar Street which intersects with Vernon Street at the east end of our block. Cedar Street is a one way street, it is best to access it from Front Street which can be accessed by heading north on Hall Street which intersects with Vernon Street to the west.

Please be sure not to park in the lot adjacent to the Kootenay Co-op. This lot is for their customers only and they will boot your car and require you to pay a fine to have your car released.

Concession & Raffles:

We will have a “cash only” concession running all weekend with hot and cold drinks, a bake sale, candy bags, chips and fruit available for purchase. Gymnasts, coaches and judges will be provided with food.

Flowers for gymnasts will be for sale at the concession.

We will be holding 50/50 raffles during each session and will also be holding a basket raffle. If you win one of the baskets but have already left the facility we will arrange to get your prize to you.

Please arrive at the venue early.

Gymnasts should be changed and ready to go no later than 15 minutes prior to the listed warm up times.

Please note that parents are not permitted on the competition floor.

 

Scratch Policy

 Jan 10 to Mar 24 – there will be a $85 refund for any scratch.

Notification given from Mar 25 to Apr 25 - $85 refund will be given only upon receipt of a Doctor’s note. (Medical Notes must be submitted in person to the office before the start of the competition.)

Scratches without documentation will not be refunded.

No Shows and on-site scratches and scratches received after April 25: No Refunds given.

 

 

We ask that in the event of an unforeseen circumstance that prevents your gymnast from otherwise attending, please call the office or your coach as soon as you know. We appreciate getting as much notice as possible. Email info@trailgymnastics.ca OR text Katy 250-512-1008

 

No Show Policy

A great deal of time, effort and expense are invested in attending the various meets & competitions throughout the season. Accurate participant lists are essential to providing our gymnasts the best experience possible. Parents are expected to notify the Club if they will not be attending an event. No Show Gymnasts (those who are on our list, but fail to attend), create a significant amount of unnecessary work and are subject to an administration fee.
